For customers

Electronic publications are digital versions of books, which you can access from a computer, phone or tablet.

To get an electronic publication, click on the Add to cart button in the publication page and complete the Checkout process. A link to your book will be sent to you via email as soon as the checkout process is completed.
* For free books, you do not need to enter any credit card details. Just complete the checkout process and the book will be sent to you via email.
** For paid books, you need to complete the payment in order to receive your book via email.

You can pay for an electronic publication using the following methods:

  • Using your PayPal account: Simply sign in to your PayPal account and complete the purchase. All payments are handled by PayPal, to ensure secure transactions. If you don’t have a PayPal account you can create one at any time.
    * You need a valid credit card to create a PayPal account.
  • Bank Transfer: If you don’t have a PayPal account or credit card, you can choose to pay via Bank transfer or e-banking. Simply choose the option Direct Bank Transfer on checkout. Once your order is complete, you need to visit your local bank and deposit the book fee to the CARDET Press bank account. Alternatively you can deposit the amount via e-banking.  Remember to include your name and order number in the deposit details. You will receive detailed instructions and bank account information via email once you complete the checkout process.
    * Please note that you will not receive your book until your payment has cleared. The process may take up to 2-5 working days.

To view your electronic publication you need to download and install Adobe Digital Editions on your computer.

Our electronic publications have been tested to work with Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.7 version.

You can log in to your account here and click on the “Downloads” link. Locate the title of the book you need to download and click on the purple download button.

You can install your electronic publication on one device only.

By default, all publications are available in electronic format only. If a publication is available in both electronic and paper formats, it will be noted on the publication’s page.
* All printed versions of our publications have an extra charge for printing and shipping purposes.

Standard shipping within Cyprus is based on the weight and shipping costs that appear on your shopping cart.

  • For Cyprus: Standard delivery (5-10 business days):
  • For Greece: Standard delivery (7-20 business days)

For authors

  • If you are interested in publishing with us, please fill in the “Publication form
  • Your proposal should contain

i. An overview of the book, its content and focus;

ii. A table of contents, or outline;

iii. A statement of significance/contribution

iv. A short biography of the author, including current occupation and previous publications

  • Please note: We only publish work related to humanities and social sciences. Any non-related material will not be considered. If you need further information regarding your manuscript, please contact us at press@cardet.org.

No. There is no charge when you submit an application to publish with us.
